Isn't it sad when tutors aren't very far sighted!
I've just had a message from Angelita, who did the lovely fabrics for her final cat walk show at the London College of Fashion, featured in an earlier post.
She has be told by her tutors that she needs to use a greater colour range than she has, so had to re- dye all her fabrics using synthetic dyes. It's such a pity that this student's work has not been recognised as being forward thinking. Especially in the light of the fact that at the last Trend Forecast that I went to said one of the up and coming trends was for soft, chalky shades, just like Angelina's!!
